Over the centuries, the Church has witnessed numerous pivotal events. Every week brings anniversaries of these historical moments, ranging from momentous breakthroughs to somber events, from remarkable births to notable deaths.

Some of these occurrences from the past 2,000 years might be well-known, while others remain less recognized.

This week, we commemorate significant events in Christian history, such as the birth of Henry Venn, the exile of Athanasius of Alexandria, and the death of Cotton Mather.
