Military veterans and their families are planning a significant demonstration in Washington, D.C., to protest what they describe as systematic erosion of veteran benefits and employment opportunities. The Unite for Veterans, Unite for America Rally aims to mobilize support for veteran rights.

Scheduled for Friday, June 6th, 2025, at 2:00 PM ET, the event will take place on the National Mall adjacent to the National Air and Space Museum, where 6th Street meets the Mall.

The rally addresses reports of thousands of veterans losing federal jobs alongside concerns about Veterans Affairs service reductions. Organizers seek to defend veteran federal employment, oppose VA privatization initiatives, and ensure political accountability on veteran issues.

Choosing the D-Day anniversary date, organizers invoke the tradition of veteran advocacy dating back to the 1932 Bonus Army march and subsequent campaigns for expanded benefits. The demonstration operates on grassroots funding from individual supporters.
