The heartwarming encounters have been captured on video, showing everyday shoppers sharing their knowledge of Scripture in exchange for financial blessings.
YouTube creator rewards biblical knowledge
Zachary Impellicceiri produces Christian-themed videos for YouTube, approaching people in public settings with biblical challenges. His format is simple: answer questions about the Bible correctly, and he’ll either hand you cash or cover your grocery bill.
In one interaction, he presented a challenge worth $100 to a young couple if they could identify ten books from the Bible. The pair successfully rattled off Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Ephesians, Genesis, Psalms, Corinthians, and Chronicles, earning their reward.
Following their win, Zachary invited them to deliver a spiritual message to viewers. “Give yourself to Jesus and everything changes,” the young woman said. The young man added, “Put your trust in Him and He’ll be always there for you”.
Grocery bills covered for biblical answers
The generosity extended to a female shopper who needed to name just five biblical books to have her groceries covered. After she succeeded, Zachary assisted her with carrying her shopping bags and settled her $120.28 bill at checkout.
Another participant earned $100 by naming twelve books of the Bible, drawing from both testaments. He cited Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Matthew, and Mark among his selections.
His message to the world was direct: “You make a mistake, just repent. Let’s keep getting back up. Pick up your cross daily.” His biblical knowledge earned him an additional bonus when he successfully recited Philippians 4:13.
Reciting verses brings unexpected blessings
One participant had her complete shopping cart and a toy for a child fully paid for after reciting a Bible verse. She quoted the scripture about studying to show yourself approved unto God.
Perhaps the most touching moment featured Deborah, an older woman approaching her 80th birthday. When asked to identify the King of Kings for a shopping spree, she responded with a smile, declaring that “Jesus” was the name above all names.
Zachary concluded his shopping outing by affirming that Jesus is the only way to be saved.
