Tragic Shooting Outside London Church Leaves One Dead and Two Injured
In a tragic turn of events, Michelle Sadio was identified as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred outside a London church on Saturday night. The incident unfolded near the River of Life Elim Pentecostal Church in Harlesden where a wake had been taking place.
The 46-year-old mother’s family is currently receiving support from local authorities as they grapple with this unexpected loss.
Alongside Sadio, two men in their 30s sustained serious injuries when a car drove up and opened fire on a group of mourners gathered outside the church. One of the injured remains hospitalized in critical condition.
Despite ongoing investigations, no arrests have been made thus far, prompting police to urge anyone with information to come forward.
“This is a truly shocking incident that has left a woman dead and two others injured, and I understand the concern this will cause the local community and those across London,” stated Superintendent Tony Josephs of the North West Command Unit. “I want to reassure people that a team of experienced detectives are already working at pace to piece together the events of last night and identify whoever was responsible for this heinous act of violence.”
Superintendent Josephs further appealed to the public, saying, “If you were in or around Gifford Road at the time of the shooting, or have any information about who was responsible, please get in contact with us. A family has been left devastated and we need to work together to provide them with answers.”
