Michelle Holland Conner shared the uplifting footage on Facebook, where it quickly resonated with viewers around the world. “Sometimes you need a little church. Even if it’s in Sam’s Club,” she said. The gospel song that inspired this retail worship session was composed by Charles C. Jenkins II, an accomplished American gospel musician. Jenkins launched his musical journey in 2012 with “The Best Of Both Worlds,” an album that Billboard magazine recognized as his breakthrough release.
Beyond his musical accomplishments, Jenkins holds degrees from both Moody Bible Institute and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He currently leads Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago as its pastor, combining his ministerial calling with his musical talents.
