A six-grader from Tomball, Texas, has captured the attention of believers after delivering a remarkable four-minute presentation tracing Jesus Christ’s presence throughout all 66 books of the Bible. Jack Stockton, an 11-year-old homeschool student at Salem Lutheran Church, demonstrated biblical knowledge that belied his young age as he methodically revealed how Scripture points to the Savior from Genesis to Revelation.

In an era when many children focus primarily on video games and social media, this young speaker chose to dedicate his time to studying God’s Word, resulting in a presentation that resonated deeply with his audience.

Tracing Jesus through the Old Testament

Jack opened his presentation with the first book of Scripture, identifying Jesus as the seed of woman in Genesis. From there, he progressed through the Pentateuch, describing Christ as the Passover lamb in Exodus, our high priest in Leviticus, the pillar of cloud and fire in Numbers, and a prophet similar to Moses in Deuteronomy.

The historical narratives of the Old Testament offered additional descriptions as Jack continued. Joshua presented Jesus as the captain of our salvation, while Judges revealed Him as our judge and lawgiver. The book of Ruth showcased Christ as our kinsman redeemer. In the books of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles, Jesus appeared as our trusted prophet and reigning king, with Esther portraying Him as our Mordecai.

The poetic literature and prophetic books added depth to the portrait. Psalms depicted Jesus as our shepherd, while Proverbs identified Him as our wisdom. The prophetic writings offered vivid imagery—Isaiah’s prince of peace, Jeremiah’s righteous branch, and Daniel’s fourth man in the fiery furnace.

The New Testament revelation

Transitioning to the New Testament, Jack highlighted how each Gospel writer emphasized different aspects of Christ’s identity: the King of the Jews in Matthew, the Servant in Mark, the Son of Man in Luke, and the Son of God in John.

The apostle Paul’s epistles revealed Jesus in various roles as well—the righteousness of God, our liberty, our joy, and our completeness. The presentation culminated with Revelation’s portrayal of Christ as our coming King.

A powerful declaration of faith

The young speaker concluded with stirring declarations about Jesus: “He was bruised and brought healing! He was pierced and eased pain! He was persecuted and brought freedom! He was dead and brought life!

Jack continued with bold affirmations: “The world can’t understand him, the armies can’t defeat Him, the schools can’t explain Him, and the leaders can’t ignore Him.” He emphasized that no historical figure—whether Herod, Nero, or Hitler—could silence Christ’s message.

His final words offered personal testimony: “He is my Redeemer, He is my Savior, He is my guide, and He is my peace! He is my Joy, He is my comfort, He is my Lord, and He rules my life!

The presentation serves as a reminder to believers about the importance of Biblical literacy and teaching children Scripture. Jack’s example highlights what can happen when parents prioritize spiritual education and children embrace God’s Word with enthusiasm.
