Fellowship of Christian Athletes Achieves Record Bible Distribution in 2025

This year, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) marked a notable accomplishment by distributing over 244,000 Bibles, exceeding their previous year’s efforts. This increase reflects the organization’s expanding reach and commitment to spreading their message worldwide.

The FCA reported distributing exactly 244,650 Bibles in 2025, a significant rise from the 219,000 Bibles handed out in 2024. These distributions occurred not only across the United States but also in 68 other countries, showcasing the global impact of their mission.

An FCA spokesperson highlighted the effectiveness of the organization’s outreach initiatives, saying, “Some of the primary spaces where FCA distributed Bibles are through Huddles, camps or outreach events such as Fields of Faith.” The events included more than 900 camps and over 23,000 huddle groups worldwide, alongside approximately 400 sports clubs.

FCA’s efforts extend from elementary schools to professional sports arenas, impacting a wide range of sports environments. The spokesperson emphasized the dedication of the organization’s staff and volunteers, who are eager to provide Bibles to coaches and athletes whenever possible. The Bibles are intended as tools for long-term discipleship, fostering ongoing spiritual engagement.

The overarching goal is to enhance the spiritual growth and faith of coaches and athletes, facilitating their development of a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ. As part of this mission, FCA implements their “E3 Strategy,” focusing on the principles of “Engage,” “Equip,” and “Empower.”

“FCA’s overachieving aim is to reach coaches and athletes with the Gospel, help them grow spiritually and then enable them to help others do the same,” said the spokesperson. By offering Scripture in various languages, the organization seeks to ensure the Gospel’s accessibility and cultural relevance globally, impacting teammates, schools, families, and communities positively.

Reflecting on the organization’s history, the FCA distributed around 190,000 Bibles in 2019 during its 65th anniversary. FCA President and CEO Shane Williamson remarked in a past statement, “Today, FCA is one of the largest distributors of Bibles in the world. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 doesn’t only rally us, but it tells us to teach all who hear the message to obey.”

Williamson further explained, “How do we do this? We use God’s playbook, the Holy Bible, to share the life-changing message of salvation.”
