When paramedics arrived within seconds of a 911 call in early June, they found 28-year-old Ethan Preseau unconscious outside his new Pensacola home. The Navy veteran had just relocated to Florida with his girlfriend, Piper Wade, to start a fresh chapter together. “You don’t want to see someone that you love in that state. So I just freaked out and I immediately — I don’t know CPR, but I understand what it is, so I tried to do that for a second.
