Hostilities have reignited between the U.S. and Iran as Iran launched a missile attack on U.S. forces in the Middle East, according to U.S. Central Command. The missiles, aimed at U.S. positions, were successfully intercepted. In response, U.S. and Saudi troops launched attacks on Iran-backed militias in Iraq, marking a significant involvement by Saudi Arabia. This surge in violence coincided with President Trump’s meetings at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Ukrainian leader Zelenskyy. Netanyahu aimed to improve U.S.-Israel relations during the meeting.
